Solodrop® Pvt. Ltd. is a privately funded research-oriented company from India, promoted by Mr. Sanjay Modgi and Ms. Savita Modgi. Though the company is incorporated recently, the promoters have been involved in groundbreaking research on superspreading surfactants for nearly a decade. Solodrop® (superspreading surfactant) enables a physical mode of action for controlling pest population. Intellectual property including Patents filed in multiple jurisdictions are held by promoters and their jointly promoted company Solodrop® Pvt. Ltd.
Majority of the research has taken place at Government promoted laboratories spread across the City of Pune in the western part of India. The bio efficacy studies on household insects and field trials have been conducted at a leading Indian, GLP and ISO certified laboratory in Pune.
The Modgi’s now wish to license or sell the technologies to one or more licensees who could take it to the markets around the world.
